Project Manager

Become a Mechanical Engineering Project Manager at Teijin Aramid. With us, you get the opportunity to develop in an international environment, both professionally and personally. What will you do as a project manager? 

  • You will advise on innovations and improvements in the field of (mechanical) installations.
  • You will independently manage multidisciplinary investment projects, carrying out or overseeing pre-projects, verifying them in content, and preparing investment requests.
  • Requesting and evaluating quotes from third parties (purchasing supports here). 
  • You ensure optimal coordination between various technical disciplines and departments and monitor the progress of the projects in your portfolio.
  • You are responsible for documenting drawings and P&IDs of the executed projects (or ensuring it is done).

Role and department

As project manager, you report directly to the Manager Engineering. You will be working in a team with more than 30 colleagues and the Manager Engineering.

As a Mechanical Engineering Project Manager, you play a crucial role in implementing improvements and innovations to existing installations and equipment, with a focus on mechanical engineering. You execute investment projects that meet the specified requirements while adhering to company and safety regulations within agreed-upon timeframes and budgeted costs.

Your profile

You have a completed Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or similar. With several years of experience in a similar role, you are able to motivate people and impart knowledge to colleagues, clients, and suppliers. Additionally, you have/are: 

  • Extensive experience in production and project management; 
  • A team player, strong in organization, independent, and results-oriented; 
  • An authoritative gatekeeper on delivered engineering work.
