Role and department

The entire HR team consists of around 40 colleagues. These colleagues work at various locations within Teijin Aramid. Alongside the HR managers and HRBPs, the Shared Service Center and various HR specialists (including Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, and Recruitment) ensure professional support for the business. As an HR Servicedesk Agent, you will work with 13 colleagues in the HR&O Shared Service Center in Arnhem. Together, you are responsible for optimizing and further professionalizing the HR processes for all business units of Teijin Aramid. You will report to the Manager HR&O Shared Service Center.

As an HR Service Desk Agent, you are the linchpin between HR and the rest of the organization. You ensure that all our employees and managers are promptly and correctly assisted with their HR-related queries. From questions about leave and employment terms to support with contracts and HR systems, you have the answers at hand. With your customer-focused attitude and sharp eye, you ensure that everyone feels heard and supported. This is the role where you can combine your passion for people with your organizational talents.

• As an HR Servicedesk Agent, you, together with 3 colleagues, will provide administrative and organizational support regarding the onboarding, ongoing employment, and offboarding of employees, with a special focus on the hiring process. You ensure that all processes related to the hiring of external staff, such as freelancers, temporary workers, and independent contractors, are efficient and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• You represent the HR department and act as the first point of contact for our employees and managers regarding HR policies, processes, and collective labor agreement applications.
• In ongoing processes, you identify bottlenecks and take initiative to implement (process) improvements.
• You manage the personnel administration and ensure the accurate processing of personnel changes. You work closely with our Recruiters, Payroll Administrators, HR Managers, and HR Business Partners from all locations.
• You ensure that all relevant HR information for employees and managers is available on internal platforms and external websites.
• You contribute to various HR projects.

Your profile

  • You have at least a completed MBO level 4 or HBO degree in HRM or a related field. 
  • You possess strong communication skills in both Dutch and English. 
  • You are administratively strong and work meticulously. 
  • Continuous improvement and working smarter is in your blood. You know what it takes to enhance processes step by step and can achieve this with various stakeholders. 
  • You have good knowledge of and experience with MS Office and personnel information systems. 
  • You are service-oriented and able to find a good balance between quality and speed of service.

Our offer

  • This position is classified in our own CAO scale 6 (€3400 to €4481 gross per month), with your salary based on your experience and qualifications. 
  • 20 days of vacation per year, plus 26 additional days as a Personal Choice Budget, which you can use as days off or have paid out; a total of 46 vacation days on a full-time basis. 
  • We offer excellent secondary benefits such as 8.33% holiday pay, a market-conforming pension with a low personal contribution, profit sharing between 0 and 10%, and flexible working hours.

  • A home office allowance of €3.76 per day and a travel expense reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometer traveled. 
  • A green and development budget of €1500 each.
