Work Permit Coordinator Poly Recovery

As a Work Permit Coordinator, you and your team are responsible for issuing work permits and overseeing the work. You play a crucial role in assessing submitted repair requests. Additionally: 

  • Reviewing and issuing safe work permits. Ensuring the safety of the installations to be maintained, enabling safe work. 
  • Supervising work activities and ensuring adherence to agreements as stipulated in the work permits, and taking measures if there is non-compliance. 
  • Developing a resource planning, cleaning plan, and (repair) work in consultation with maintenance and production. 
  • Contributing expertise during HAZOP studies, review meetings of P&IDs, process controls, layout, etc. 
  • Drafting operating instructions and work procedures in collaboration with practical instructors.

Role and department

The team you will be joining currently consists of 6 colleagues. We are looking for several colleagues who can strengthen this team. Additionally, you will also collaborate with colleagues from other departments.

As a Work Permit Coordinator for Poly Recovery, you have a diverse range of tasks. You work closely with the production teams and the maintenance department, resulting in a solid schedule of maintenance activities within the production plan. From the production department, you coordinate the adjustment, safe transfer of the installation for repair, and the startup.

Your profile

  • You have an intermediate vocational education level (MBO+) and knowledge of chemical process installations. 
  • You have specific knowledge of applicable HSE procedures (or are willing to acquire it) and are capable of providing functional leadership. 
  • You have an overview and can function under time pressure, possess strong communication skills, and can act as a link between various departments. 
  • Strong affinity with safety in general, especially in a chemical/technical environment. 
  • Possession of VCA certification.
