“At Tri-Star, we evolved to Twaron® from Teijin Aramid for its “won't burn, melt or drip” properties.” - Eric Moll, Director of Tri-Star Glove

Product value
Reliable protection for industrial safety gloves
Twaron® enhances industrial safety gloves with proven cut, heat, and abrasion resistance, ensuring durability in demanding environments like automotive and glass manufacturing. Its high-strength fibers maintain integrity under prolonged heat and mechanical stress, delivering consistent performance over time. The 1.7-decitex (1.5-denier) fiber structure balances durability and dexterity, allowing for precision in high-risk applications. Twaron® is also heat resistant and does not burn, melt, or drip, making it ideal for flame-resistant PPE that meets strict safety standards.

Sustainability
Twaron® for sustainable protective gloves
Twaron® supports sustainable PPE by extending the lifespan of cut- and heat-resistant gloves, reducing waste, and lowering environmental impact. Our aramid fibers enable repairability, decreasing the need for frequent replacement. With the lowest carbon footprint of all aramids, Twaron® also helps manufacturers meet sustainability targets without sacrificing performance.
