Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) from ignition cables can cause erroneous signals to be sent to engine management systems and other on-board electronic devices used in racing and production vehicles. Problems with the running of the engine itself can also occur if the engine receives signals from sensors that have been altered by EMI from ignition cables.
High-output conductors with a Twaron® or Technora® composite core can prevent EMI from interfering with the running of the engines by suppressing the spark current. The Twaron or Technora composite core also prevents the conductors from kinking and provides additional tensile strength.
Twaron 1000 and Technora T200 and T240 are the most suitable aramid fibers to keep your engine running smoothly.
